Alternatively an EGM (co-inciding with the next EC meeting) would be in accord with the law and would set an example and be advisory to those who also can’t be bothered with minor changes (easily construed as anything that doesn’t remove significant chunks of the building). No one would be forced to attend; proxies should be easily gained in sufficient number for a quorum. Maybe in this hypothetical case some whose unit is in visual range would like to vote for a nice wooden trellis instead of the $10 plastic one.
