Hi, Others may know more, perhaps this is one answer? In our experience, we pay household insurance privately as we’re the live-in owner of the unit. The building itself has insurance for all the other bits i.e. that are common to everyone. That’s if we’ haven’t missed something as recent strata people. I would ensure I got defined terms from any firm quoting; it’s your place. How would it be if you decided to live in, after all.
