Thanks for your reply. My major concern is – can the owner of the lot above cut a hole in my recently (5yrsago) renovated ceiling and repair it only as he sees fit just to install an extra bathroom (ensuite) in his lot. I understand he needs 75% but if he manages to get this, I can’t stop him entering and cutting a hole in my ceiling? Sounds frightening – what if he then wants a laundry in another spot, do I get another hole in my ceiling? Perhaps this is why the rich buy penthouses
