No. All you will need is to have the lock in place and if it is unlocked, then it’s up to you. I would imagine, however, that if you are letting a unit, you would need to have the lock fully in place and functioning when you were showing the unit to prospective tenants and it would be up to the tenants to decide what to do with it once they were in situ.
