Hi,
Would uninstalling the track, screwing piece wood with brackets into the wall in preparation of attaching the front of the pelmut on ( trying to reduce the amount of drilling into the concrete wall ), need strata's permission? My strata only uses the 1996 act. The pelmut isn't an an original part of the apartment, I'm adding it on, but it will only be screwed into wood with the brackets. Also, is it better to get their tradies to do the job or can i find someone else? I'm just worried about the charge per hour ( his services have probably been used several times, and so strata would probably trust his work more than a tradie I find myself ) . He has told me it is a 3 hr * 2 tradie job uninstalling 5 sets of tracks and installing the new ones. – $55/hr per tradie.
