My apologies – it is in NSW (and I had read enough posts before asking my question to know that I should have put that information in – sorry!)

Each townhouse has it’s own completely separate system, consisting of the internal tank, and external mounting frame, and an external panel.

I am specifically interested in clarity over the responsibility for the external mounting frame & the external solar water panel (which is plumbed into the internal tank).

And related – would Strata potentially become liable for the consequential increase in electricity bills that owners would experience if the external panel & bracket were removed (as the hot water tank would need to be heated solely by electricity, with no solar heating panel)?
