      We have a By-law motion for a GM which is worded thus;

      Bathroom and Air Conditioning By-law

      ( this was the outcome of our recent AGM but the proposal wasn’t on the agenda or notice )

      There is no provision to be selective eg what if you want one but oppose the other ?

      Shouldn’t these be separate motions as they are unrelated. I’ve spoken to the solicitor involved and they say

      that it’s acceptable procedure.

      Thanks

          To make a special by-law for (a) bathroom renovations and (b) to install air conditioning units,

          in other words a “combination” by-law for both

          PS I’m also of the understanding that the air conditioning is regarded as a minor renovation and shouldn’t require a by-law even though common property wall or roof penetrations would be involved
