SCA NSW (the strata managers organisation) is holding a seminar on concrete cancer on April 16. A press release says the seminar will cover a range of topics relating from how to identify concrete cancer, the early warning signs, consequences of not acting to get it repaired, through to treatment and other technical information needed to manage old buildings and deal with concrete cancer.
Industry expert Neil Trenwith from Magnatex will lead the discussion, with David Bannerman from Bannermans Lawyers advising on legal issues arising from the owners corporation, Dominic Hogan from Macquarie Bank will discuss funding of these works and Ken Demlakian from Demlakian Strata and Remedial will be providing project management advise.
