We are in Sydney beside a heavy traffic road. Late last year some owners requested the strata committee to arrange trimming of shrubs that “shielded” the front lawn area from traffic because this hadn’t been done for 3 years. This was done very nicely last December.
Now the entire hedge has been removed without OC consent. Owners always thought that plants like hedges are common property and that the strata committee should not have changed common property without OC consent in an EGM or AGM. Is this correct? The shrubs had exist along the front boundary since the property was built and formed the front fence.
