Hi,
Recently our Owners Corporation (in NSW) approved a by-law for a major renovation for one unit, including bathrooms (tiling and waterproofing) larger openings in external walls for bigger windows and doors etc.
When does the by-law have to be registered ?
Before the work starts ?
This would make sense, as if they were to cause a problem during construction, but before the by-law was registered, they may try and say the responsibility for fixing it lies with the Owners Corporation.
Any pointers to legislation etc would be greatly appreciated.
