A resolution was passed at an AGM , say, in the middle of  FY 2015, August 2015 when FY ends in February 2016.

This resolution says “Resolved to appoint relevant experts “.

Can this resolution be relied upon to appoint additional  “”experts”” in FY 2016 beginning from March 2016 besides those experts that were appointed in FY 2015.

If , yes , is the Strata Manager entitled / authorised to appoint anyone or even a Strata Committee Member as such an expert without calling for a tender, fixing a scale of pay and without getting a formal approval of the Strata Committee ( being reported Strata Committee Meeting Minutes to Owners in a large  strata especially if the skills required are those of an electrical / civil engineer when Strata Committee Member has no qualifications in those fields ?

In answer to your first question –

I don’t see why not. However, if the intention is to get an opposing or second ‘expert’ opinion you may be heading for trouble. Who will decide which ‘expert’ is correct?

In answer to your second question –

        No.
