Our AGM concluded over 3 weeks ago. At this meeting several motions went against the committee . As yet, no minutes have been received and the strata manager refuses to answer queries.
Now it seems minutes do not need to be produced and distributed until a notice is sent out for the next general meeting. This could be 11 months away.
Is this correct? In 15 years of living here general meeting minutes have always been sent to owners within 7 -10 days.
Are NSW owners solely reliant on good commercial practice by their strata managers in order to be informed? I can't find any reference in the strata management act to the distribution of GM minutes, though I'm no expert.
Or are we being conned?
