Hi,
I am Martin from Hong Kong. I spent half year staying in Australia for working holiday. Everything was perfect expect my landlords… They didn’t give my bond back after I moved out. I didn’t expect they can do such thing. My flatmates were even driven away from the flat by policemen after I moved out!
I lodged an application in Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) and I won the case. I got the order but I have to enforce it through the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria. As suggested by Tenant Union Victoria, I must file an affidavit as to the amount of the debt owing.
However, I am not currently in Australia. I am afraid that I can’t find any person qualified to take affidavits in person. What can I do? Can someone do it on behalf of me?
It would be great if somebody here can help me figuring out the answer…Thank you so much!
Martin
