I purchased an apartment with a carspace included in the sale of the property. The carspace is not on the title but on a 99 year lease. It has been months now and the strata manager has been ignoring requests from my solicitor to provide the relevant documentation in order to transfer the lease from the previous owners and into my name. Correspondence I have had with the strata manager has not been productive.. My efforts to find out information on the matter have been replied with “the lease is under a different scheme and you are not entitled to that information”. Any advice?

Your problem is with the vendor rather than the strata manager, as it appears you bought two things – the apartment and the carspace lease. The vendor should have provided you with everything you needed to effect the transfer of the lease into your name at the same time as the apartment was transferred. If they have not done that, presuming you have paid the vendor, then you should pursue them for specific perfomance of the contract.
I suggest you speak to the person who handled the settlement of the property as a matter of priority. You may need to seek legal advice.
