Is there any legal requirement for Strata properties to have some sort of identification of the Strata Manager visible on the exterior of the building? If not, should there be?
I occasionally notice problems with properties relating to security, safety, amenity, etc which I feel should be notified to the management, but have been overlooked/ignored by occupants.
I don’t want to be seen as interfering, but often a phone call or email to a manager could solve/prevent a problem if I knew who to contact. Most properties have a “strata” letter box, but I doubt these are checked regularly. Some form of clear notice/sign outside of the security boundary might alleviate the problem. It may even be of benefit to occupants. It could be particularly useful for emergency services in the event of an incident.
I can recall back in pre-strata days, there were signs stating who the managing agent of apartment blocks was.
