I was just wondering if there were services that provided proxies to go to AGM's on your behalf? And if not, could that be a new business opportunity?
It would be much easier for a stranger to go to the AGM and tell the EC, SM or other owners that their thoughts and suggestions are ridulous or not thought through enough.
As I leave my proxy for a neighbour, with a list of my concerns that he may or may not take into account (I leave that to him poor sod) I began to think how much easier it would be to have someone not living in your complex to disagree or complain rather than being an owner resident who then has to feign delight at seeing the subject of your name calling the morning after.
If I were to go to someone elses AGM I would not hold back from expressing concerns or being very critical. I wouldn't care what they thought of me, won't see them tomorrow at the letterbox. It is difficult to be personally involved with something as big as your home and having to live in such close proximity when you want to call someone an idiot for the decisions that will affect your life. Would rather get an outsider to do that for me. Just a thought.
