We replaced sliding glass doors and windows at our cost ($35,000) as there is little money in the sinking fund and 2 owners who will not agree on any expenditure. There was a secuirty issue as 2 of the windows would not close properly. We have not asked for future reimbursment of our costs however we do not want to pay for repair costs for stingy owners who do not want to replace their windows. All four owners have said how good our windows look yet they will not agree to a by-law which we suggested which would make each owner responsible for their own windows (either replacement or repair) when needed. What can be done?
