We have recently been served with a notice of repairs/maintenance

The item complained about was a hole to be repaired and painted.

The hole was repaired some weeks ago and painted last week, and the notice arrived the day later.

If the wording on the notice “repairing and repainting” is incorrect as it should only read “painting” – can this notice be withdrawn due to incorrect wording?

If not, then how do we lodge a complaint about the notice being sent at all?

    thanks

Wouldn’t it be easier just to write back that the notice arrived after the work had been done and you want it recorded as such.

Agree with Jimmy. Rather than be offended, just write back to say that the work had been done by the time the notice arrived. No skin off anyone’s nose.
