Question: Can one strata’s EC resolve to take residents of one of the other strata’s included in the Strata Management Statement (SMS) to the CTTT to deal with their use of the shared visitor parking spaces? What is the best way to do this. I have been advised by NSW OFT that this is not possible, I suspect that this is not the case.

This is driving us nuts (pun intended) residents fill their garages up with junk (their nuts) and then use the visitor parks as if they are their own. Don’t care what they put in their garages (as long as it is not a fire risk) just want them to stop using visitor parking. Any fresh suggestions other than the obvious letters, notices etc that are already being used.

      Thank you

This is a larger question – can one SP take another in the same complex, who use the same shared facilities, to the CTTT about unresolved issues, such as the use of visitor parking.

        Thank you

The strata schemes will share facilities under another strata or community title scheme.  That scheme will have its own by-laws and either strata scheme can take action to have other members comply with their terms.
