What recourse do I have when the minutes of a strata committee meeting omit my criticism of the residential manager, who happens to be the secretary’s father ?
My criticism was a response to another committee member’s question regarding the residential manager’s performance, and formed part of the discussion at the time; it was not an errant remark or slur, but rather a statement of relevant facts, and I think it should’ve been recorded in the minutes.
When I challenged the minutes, I was told by the chairman that the minutes had already been posted and that it was now too late for any amendment.
I think this omission was intentional and biased by the secretary, and intended to prevent the owners corporation from seeing criticism of her father’s performance in the minutes, as his contract is under review at the moment.
Thank you.
