Hi,
There is an ever increasing noisy clamour of power tools for hedging (topiary), trimming, mowing and pointless leaf blowing on and around strata properties. This invariably disturbs the peaceful amenity of lot owners. Many strata committees continue to employ gardeners with noisy petrol driven motors or refuse to reduce the use of these power tools despite complaints by lot owners. Strategies to deal with this noise pollution could be to reduce the amount of hedging and the use of electric powered tools or to stop unnecessary leaf blowing. So what recourse is there when strata committees themselves are responsible, through their decisions, for disturbing the peaceful amenity of a lot owners?
Thanks for your help!
