We are pensioners and will have to borrow to pay for the legal fees.
The offenders above will not even meet with us. After 15 years of a peaceful life it is quite a blow.
We have gathered as much detailed information as we can, including the material used on the new floors above, the insulation and its rating as soundproofing,the dimensions and material in the slab floor separating us from upstairs. We are keeping a “log”.There are no special by laws to protect us and the Strata Management will not get involved.
Can anyone give us any advice about finding a lawyer who is good. Also, advice about further preparation that we can do in advance so as to minimise legal fees. Any advice will be welcome.
