Hi,
Just a question about TV Reception – I rent with my partner in a strata building in Artarmon. Since moving in we have not been able, even with a set top box (and some el cheapo $2 store indoor aerials), to get any signal for Channel 7 or 10. SBS can be a bit dodgy too, but the main problem is absolutely no 7 or 10 – a few times we've lost everything but the ABC, but this has at least stopped since we got a cheap indoor aerial. The only obvious cable in the apartment is one for internet.
I thought that this was a problem with actually being too close to the transmission towers in Artarmon, but after asking a neighbour I've found that they don't have any problems because the building has its own aerial. The neighbour suggested we ask the real estate agent because there must be a problem specific to the wiring in our apartment, and they should be able to get someone in to sort it out. The real estate agent was no help but we were able to ask the Owner through her father who came to change a fuse, and the reply was that they knew nothing about it.

Hi Elbie,
You may just need to check with your Strata Manager if you are digital ready. Just went through the same, $1100 later we have a digital aerial, amp etc and after having no reception for 6 weeks we are now back on track.
If you have just moved in form another area you may need to retune. This some times works. Other wise Owners Corporation will need to attend. You will need to make contact preferably in writing to the managing agent.
