Is there a type of firm or business I might ask (hire) to look over and comment on the agenda for the upcoming Annual General Meeting of our strata, please, to make sure everything’s kosher? There are some interesting issues such as chucking out all existing by-laws and voting in new ones, which I imagine will be costly to implement and there’s nothing much wrong with the old ones. We have a strata management firm but I don’t trust them and the Executive Committee are useless.

I’m sure a strata lawyer or consultancy would be happy to do it for you – but it wouldn’t be cheap.  There’s also the issue of professional liability to take into consideration.

Or you could just post the proposed new by-laws here and let your fellow flatchatters pick them apart for you.
