I live in an eleven year old six-unit block in NSW with HWS’s for each unit located externally to each.
The systems have timber screening around them and recently my system needed replacing. The only way to get the old one out and the new in was to remove a side from the screening.
As I now want to make the side into a gate to ease any future issues like this I asked the Strata Manager whose responsibility was the screening and he said it was mine.
I ask the question here because we recently had the building painted and all the screening for mine and the other units was included in that with no questions.
How does this Lot/Common Property thing work?
