We are a 32 unit strata in NSW and the building was built in 1972.
About 5 years ago an apartment owner did a complete renovation to their unit replacing the sliding door frames in the lounge and bedrooms.
They also had the windows tinted without permission from the EC/OC.
They now want their windows maintained at the expense of the OC.
Since they had their windows altered, shouldn’t any ensuing maintenance be carried out by the lot owner?
At the moment the present EC doesn’t know if the glass in the windows was replaced or tinted with a coating.
