      Good morning!

i recently posted our strata story about a dispute over damage to original parquet flooring. That dispute is ongoing (the owner has finally applied for mediation – yay) but my question today is related to that issue.

We would like to draft a by-law removing remaining original floors (3/12 units plus a couple more which are under laminate flooring) from the common property register. Our reasoning is the age of the floors.

First, are we legally allowed to do this? And second, where can I source some guideline or advice on how we need to word the by-law?

      Many thanks
