I am sorry, I think you have misunderstood me, I had an electrician out to my unit because I had a complaint by the tenant, at this stage I didn’t know what the issue was and was under the impression it was my issue not Owners Corporation, I have not had any work done nor have I taken any steps I have left it in the hand of the Strata Manager and Owners Corporation. Only the one issue in one previous post had I under taken repairs.
I reported the issue to the Owners Corporation immediately via the Strata Manager, everything is still as is. The results was that their contractor recommends us to update at out cost the ventilation system for $1500 and then if it is proven to be blocked they will do something then.
My question is why would I update at my cost to find out that it is blocked. So I made a suggestion, that’s all. The issue is still there.
I do not have an tendency to initiate anything, I send everything to the Owners Corporation (except the one issue due to unfortunate circumstances) that belongs to the Owners Corporation when it arises, I do not initiate contractors nor do I get my own investigation done.
In this circumstances first thought was the ventilation fan was not working, the ventilation fan is the responsibly of the Owner as advised by the Strata Manager (yes I phoned them first to see if I should send my electrician out, they advised me my issue my electrician, my cost).
And yes I have two water issues, the ventilation system and the roof leak.
