What? I didn’t, did I? I couldn’t have, could I? Regarding the 75 per cent forced sale, there would be a final appeal to the Land and Environment Court – legal costs to be borne by the owners corp if they lose – which would give you a chance to show if the deal offered was neither fair nor reasonable.
I would think being bought out of your old block with insufficient funds to buy an apartment in the new one or in a comparable one nearby might well be considered a bad deal by the LEC.
