After recently switching tax accountants, my parents have discovered that given the dodgy work of the first accountant who registered all incorrect information during tax-time about my Dad's company – they may now owe A-LOT of money and I'm just wondering, if the new accountant can't correct the error – is there any legal standing on the issue regarding the dodgy accountant? Can we take him to court?

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
