That sucks re townhouses being ineligible for the solar panel SoAR programme
re the Battery subsidy excluding apartments/strata
We need to challenge this!
I included this in a letter to my local member and the current PM.
“It is so difficult with strata apartments to make the ducks line up technically and financially to transition a building to solar. (We are trying to do this right now in our block)
The battery rebate might make all the difference (and help grid stability) but we are excluded!
Incredible when our area is being targeted for massive apartment construction.”
