Sale of unit with defects

      A legal-type question.

      An owner, through the owner’s corporation, is going through legal processes against the builder/insurer to repair significant defects in their unit. If they were able to sell the unit are the new owners still covered by the outcomes of the litigation? That is, will the repairs be obliged to be completed.

    PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum.
