In my view SCA is by design not in the best interests of owners. One only has to look at who the board members are to understand the inherent conflict the organisation has.
Clearly the organisation is run by people who profit from the strata industry, rather than for the benefit of iwners. Is it any wonder that strata industry continues to be one of the most poorly regulated industries.
The praise heaped up the departing CEO makes a lot of sense if viewed from this perspective.
