      I have a unit in a block of 28 in a coastal area of NSW. One owner has a large caravan parked in the street which he uses for accommodation when he has visitors. He runs a power lead from the building foyer, along the pathway, through the gardens to power the air conditioner and lights for his van. My query is should there be an accident which is attributable to either the power lead (trip) or the power supply (shocks/electricution) where do we stand as a strata body? who would be responsible? I do not want to be a meany and prevent him from having people use the van at times but I am concerned with the safety of all who may cross paths with the setup when he is using the power cord in this way.Confused

    PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum.
