Was browsing the forum and noticed JimmyT’s comment in another thread:

“When I installed timber flooring (and it cost three times as much as the cheapest option to make it fully compliant)”

I’m wondering if anyone has recommendations of flooring companies in Sydney who do understand strata requirements, and are happy to work with those requirements?

We would like to put a floating floor in our living area, however the concern about getting the wrong advice is stalling this. We don’t want to lay a floor to only have to rip it up later. Hence would rather additional cost upfront to ensure it would be as compliant as possible, if there are companies out there who are really happy to help with the best insulation possible.

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
