My Apartment Building has communal laundries on each floor. Our Dryer engine is blocked on my floor and needs to be repaired and a fan-belt for the Dryer. They fixed it in the past, and it worked for a while. But it is not heating properly, and tonnes of “Lint” is going all over the laundry, plus lots of moisture all over the laundry(an electrical fire waiting to happen in my view).
It’s not heating the clothes properly, and is also a fire hazard I worry alot about an electrical fire. Despite endless requests to the Building Manager, then the next line up in authority the Strata agency who has the account to the apartment building I live in, it’s baffling but they are either not changing the Dryer or getting it repaired. It’s completely baffling. Strata fees are paid for them to cover these common property amendements/or repairs. Plus the real-life danger of a fire. The delays or not doing nothing about it “baffling” and “confusing”. Why can’t they spend the money to attend this common-property matter, it seems there legally obligated too. Ridiculous situation and we the residents on our floor/level now are not getting there clothes properly dryed and now have a fire-safety hazard.
