      Hi I don’t know what to do as I have never rented private before or used this forum for that matter.

      I fell 2 weeks behind in rent and the landlord wrote me an eviction notice for 14days. I tried to pay it and he wont accept it. He has now gone to his solicitor  and police and told them that Im squatting. There was no lease drawn up and I have been renting this house for the last 16months. All the proof I have is a hand written eviction notice. He never wanted to draw up a  lease. I have been told that police are coming here saturday to remove myself and my children with him as he is saying that I am a squatter. I don’t know what to do please help

    PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
