On and off the male or the female tenant in same apt have for over 18 months  kept abusing our visitors parking bylaws. The E C have in the past been informed and this item and it was placed on the agenda, the response at that   E C meeting was something like this ” we are not prepared to enforce our by-laws just because there is a breach’. Below is a cut and paste notice available via our block website however the name of the block has been deleted. The offenders appear to have possibly have some influential friends living within the complex which may possibly be on the E C ?There is also may be the possibility of a conflict of interest as they rent their apt from the same company that handles our security and complaints reports.

Does one keep reporting this ?

Residents are not permitted to park in the visitors parking spaces. Just because you don’t have a second car space or there are plenty of visitor’s spaces available is not an excuse to breach this by-law. The majority of residents want their guest’s to be able to come to the building and park at their doorstep……. There is a by-law governing visitors parking and the Executive Committee will pursue breaches of this by-law vigorously which may result in fines or for tenants termination of your tenancy agreement.
