Thanks for the reply.

I rang 3 companies that conduct dilapidation report, they all said that the norm is to only conduct inspections on directly ajoining lots and common areas.

So after telling the Strata Manager this he immediatly ammended the by-law to reflect this.

We agree that it is the most sensible thing.

First issue resolved..
