We have recently purchased a unit in a block that is 35years old and has 14lots.

We want to carry out renovations that include removing some walls. The Strata Manager wants us to get a dilapidation report done on all lots.

Other units within the block have done similar renovations and have only required reports on their own lot.

Is it a legal requirement for all lots to be surveyed? we are happy to do the 4 lots that join ours, but it seems excessive to require all lots to be surveyed at $300+ each.

      Any Info appreciated.
