      Hi,

Our strata manager is now only holding paper committee meetings. Up until this year we had 3 on-site committee meetings per year for at least the last 18 years, probably longer. The on-site committee meetings at least allowed some discussion of the items on the agenda. Now with the paper committee meetings there is no discussion, I have tried emailing the other committee members prior to the paper committee meeting but basically get no response.

The second last paper committee meeting I had asked the strata manager for a count of the vote for the item on the agenda up for consideration to be included in the minutes. That request was fulfilled. However despite the same request at the most recent paper committee meeting, the request was not fulfilled.

Unfortunately I can’t find any requirement in the SSMA for the count of vote request to be fulfilled. Is this a case of wishful thinking that there might be some chance of openness?

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
