I recently got 3 quotes for annual maintenance of the building. 2 out of 3 contractors I met promised to pay me $500 – $2000 for getting the contract. I just quietly said: “I dont work that way”. But looking at the state of the building and many others I have seen gets me to think this must be quite wide spread. Executive members allow the building to deteriorate, make money and when you threaten to go to mediation simply step down or simply hire an additional casual worker to get it fixed. Worse the property gets devalued. Problem is not many even bother to go to mediation. How do you stop this corruption? Do you think that you are getting value for the money you pay for annual maintenance? Should have a poll for this..

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
