Recommended defect inspector

      Hi, We have recently purchased an apartment in Sydney and joined the committee.

      There are a couple of known issues in the common areas of the buildings and we would like to obtain a defect report.

      Can anyone recommended a reputable inspection company?

      Strata Management have obtained a quote which states will only cover the areas we have already pointed out. I thought an inspector would come out and look to see all/any issues that would need to be addressed by the builder.

      Apparently there are two different types of report and only one could be used for litigation purposes. Any advise or help around this issue would be appreciated!

    PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum.
