I have extensive staining and cracking to the interior of my walls due to the roof not being water tight over a long period of time. The roof is now fixed and the Body Corp agree to pay for the damage to the cracked cornices and ceiling but not for the brown water stains on the walls. They say painting is my responsibility. I don't think this can be correct as I wouldn't need to paint the walls if they didn't have brown water stains on them due to the leaking roof. What do other flat-chatters think?
