i rented out my aprtment, tenants were good, looked after the place well, so i didnot charge high rent. very seldom increased rent.

after 7 years of same tenants, one day lift got flooded and damaged. due to extensive damage, it took months to repair the lift.

tenants took me to tribunal for compensation.

lousy agent did poor job representing the case in the tribunal, i had to pay compensation to tenants and agent's time and agent's parking fees.

i kicked out the tenants and sacked the agent.

no longer want to rent out the property now.
