One of the changes built into the new NSW strata laws is a requirement to set up a 10-year maintenance plan, to be reviewed every five years.
So, do you have one? And is it relevant and up to date? Are you saving up for a rainy day with no idea of when it’s going to come or how hard it’s likely to rain?
Do you have any idea what good maintenance should include? Our good friends at the Owners Corporation Network are organising an information night where you can get the right advice on building maintenance and discover whether your asset management strategies meet your maintenance needs and legal requirements.
Award winning facilities managers, MBM will deliver an interactive session on preventative and reactive maintenance, minor works and life-cycle replacement.
The aim is to tell you how to enhance your property values rather than just squirreling away money blindly then spending it haphazardly on the latest problem rather than the highest priority.
Speakers include:
Craig Underwood, National Executive: Building Consultancy and Engineering, MBM
With 20 years experience across the majority of sectors within the built environment, Craig has completed extensive volumes of property audits, both comprehensive written reports and software generated reports, asset identification, asset life cycle and condition reporting.
