Two major strata events are on the horizon.  OK, they are major for me … but you might be interested too.

First cab off the rank (or should it be ‘UberX out of the driveway’?) is Strata Community Australia’s (SCA) Owners Day on April 30th, which sees a return of Flat Chat Live, hosted by yours truly and featuring questions on the new strata legislation.

SCA is the strata manager’s umbrella organisation and the day is to be opened by City of Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore and will also include sessions on  ‘greening’ your building, dealing with disputes (me again, with a couple of experts from Fair Trading) telecommunications,  adding value to your block and what to do before you buy a new apartment.

It runs on Saturday, April 30th from 8.30am to 4.30pm at the Sydney Masonic Centre, 66 Goulburn Street Sydney.  Tickets are $66 for strata owner chapter members and $80 for non-members. Registration fees include full access to all sessions, exhibition area, event bag, trade passport draw, lunch and coffee breaks.

The next event, a couple of weeks later on May 14th, is a bit less serious but could be just as informative.
