how community association works

      Dear members of flat chat,

      I am familiar with how strata scheme works, however, when living in a community association type of complex, I just cannot get my head around it. any chance someone can point me a direction (may be a book, a video, a guide or etc.) how I can start to get familiar with how community association works? the statement file and deposit plan (a couple of dozens of torrents titles that share the road, playground and etc.) file is so lengthy, don’t even know where to start.

      also, if we are not happy about the service our managing agent provides, what procedure should be followed to change management? is that similar to a strata scheme? 

      any advice would be appreciated, at least I know where to start, thanks,

    PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum.
