Most of the apartments in our SP have louvered privacy walls at the rear of the apartment. They are all identical in appearance and material and are fixed installations with no moving parts. One owner is proposing to replace the wall in his apartment with a wall containing moveable louvers. The suggestion is that the proposed wall will be of the same colour and material as the existing wall. Would this constitute an alteration to the external appearance of the building and therefore be regarded as a major renovation?
