Due to foundation movement, several wall cracks in the internal common property walls of two units will need crack stitching. This requires render removal, helli-bar inserts and re-rendering.
The walls then will need to be repainted.
I am unsure as to who will be responsible for the repaint.
Usually, the owner is responsible for the internal painting but I am wondering whether the O.C is responsible as it is the one carrying out the repair and I assume must return it to its previous state?

Generally, the Owners Corp is responsible for repairs to damage inflicted on Lot Property by work carried out to repair common property. In the scenario you have described, the OC should pay for the paint job
